New Feature Requests

If you have any feature requests for the Page Template Plugin, then please leave a comment with details of your request and we’ll see what we can do.

We want to make this the de facto plugin for sales and squeeze pages within WordPress, but we’d also like to see other page template types suggested too if you can think of any, so please let us know, we’re eager to hear your request.

    Frank,

Any plan on releasing the plugin? The need for a theme independent page template plugin is in great need.

      Hi Ron,

I’m formally releasing it next week – Thursday 19th July – only 20 months after the first version was released. Hurrah!

      All the best,

      -Frank

Congrats on your WSO/product release. It would really be nice to have:
    1) Video Sales Pages (some with full width videos)
    2) Video Squeeze Pages with full width videos & opt in box below
    3) Thank You Page templates for squeeze pages with matching backgrounds
    4) Mobile templates: video squeeze pages (video above & opt in box below) with different background colours and matching Thank You pages.

      Hi Stan,

Well… You can already do #1-#3 by using a sales page template and then inserting the appropriate embed code or form code where you want it to appear. So instead of building a sales page with all the bells and whistles, you start with a blank canvas and then place the video at the top with the optin box below.

#4 – We’ll start working on that shortly when I’ve got my head round all the change requests that we’ve had in.

      All the best,

Is it possible to create a “language file” or “preset” – the plug in is very handy but i need to re-edit alla the content all the time… i d like to make my own text template

    • Frank says:

      Hi Manolo,

Yep already done. If you take a look in the plugin folder, you’ll find two files – salespage-presets.html and squeezepage-presets.html. If you look at the layout for a couple of minutes you’ll work out the format. Just carefully work your way through it making changes and test it out. :-)

      All the best,

      -Frank
